Welcome to the website of the Family Trauma Advocacy Program (FTAP). The FTAP is located in Chicago, IL and is one of the only programs that provide free comprehensive grief support services to surviving family members of homicide/violent crime victims throughout the state. However, we welcome and will support survivors regardless of geographical location.
The FTAP recognizes that losing a loved one to homicide/violent crime is a life-altering experience, and our goal is to assist family members during their grieving process by providing support and encouragement as well as empowerment through education.
